Our emphasis this season is on family shows, with Andy and Mike’s Big Box of Bananas, The Little Red Hen and from CBBC’s “Smart” Kirsten O’Brien’s ART! plus our traditional family pantomime Cinderella –tickets are now on sale so don’t wait too long to book your seat.

We are delighted to welcome back the Red Ladder Theatre company who last year brought us the hilarious comedy Riot, Rebellion and Bloody Insurrection this year they are bringing us more laughs with their new production- Sex, Docks and Rock ‘n’ Roll. THE CIVIC ARTS CENTRE

We announced in our last events bulletin that the downstairs rooms and the foyer at the Civic Theatre were being transformed into a brand new community Arts Centre for Hyndburn.

In August, the Civic Arts centre will open its doors for the first time. One of the main aims of the Arts Centre is to bring new youth productions to the area and to develop our young talent. We are extremely excited by this new venture and I am sure you will be too when you take a look at the varied programme and weekly activities.
